Board-level products, sold on their own. SCR triggering boards control the firing angle of thyristor bridges — up to four SCRs in single-phase, up to twelve in three-phase. AVR control cards come in servo, static and relay variants, driving servo motors, IGBT bridges or tap-selection relays respectively. Automation modules cover timer and protection relays.

What separates a good board from a cheap one is what it will tolerate and what it will talk to. A good SCR triggering board has noise-resistant feedback, optional RS-485 remote control, and inputs for external signals, dry contacts, thermal cutoff and emergency stop. A good AVR card supports paralleling, so units can be joined to reach a higher rating without a redesign. Transients and dust are what kill boards in service, and a board without noise-resistant feedback fails in a way that looks like an intermittent fault in the equipment around it.

Our triggering boards run a phase-locked loop synchronised to mains zero-crossing, with PID control of the firing angle. Three-phase adds two more zero-crossings and a phase-rotation check; otherwise the principle is the same. Component selection follows a defined criterion for manufacturer reputation, and boards pass certification-level testing before release.

For a drop-in replacement we need a sample of the board. A faulty sample is workable; a working one is better. Otherwise we need your use case, environment, required features and any telemetry.

The real decision is whether you want a board or a complete panel, and it depends on your own electrical capability and what you can support in-house. It is worth a conversation rather than an assumption. Protection relays are the units we are most often asked to replace, as import duties and lead times make the originals impractical.
