Panels, Distribution & Controls
A distribution panel manages and protects the distribution of load across a building or plant — AC, DC, or both. It brings supply in through a master MCCB, splits it across a bank of MCBs with indication on each way, and takes it out through a second master, with metering showing total output current and voltage.
What separates a good unit from a cheap one is earth-fault protection rather than earth-fault detection. Detection raises an alarm; protection acts. A good panel carries AC and DC earth-fault protection and isolates input from output. It is also Modbus compliant and SCADA compatible, so the panel is visible to whoever runs the site rather than being a box that either works or doesn't. The other thing cheap panels get wrong is DC breaker sizing. DC arcs far more than AC across opening contacts, and an undersized DC breaker will nuisance- trip until somebody bypasses it.
Our current panels are controlled by our own MCU-based boards rather than by a PLC. The earlier generation used PLCs and relay logic, and two products in this catalogue still carry that configuration — replacing them with in-house control is what let us put Modbus, per-way telemetry and PID heat control into panels that previously had none of it. Earth-fault protection, per-way indication and metering are fitted as standard rather than offered as options.

The real decision is the isolation transformer. Isolating the panel's input from its distribution keeps noise out of the downstream equipment, and it is the difference buyers most often leave out of a specification and most often want after commissioning.
