Diode Labs builds industrial power electronics — rectifiers, battery chargers, stabilisers, and the control systems around them — for environments where failure is expensive.
The company came out of consulting. Two engineers, friends since university, spent years working with manufacturers, utilities, and defence organisations across Pakistan on the same problem in different forms: analog power and control systems that had outlived their instrumentation. The work was PCB design, firmware, retrofit, and R&D. A great deal of it ended in hardware that shipped under someone else's nameplate.
Diode Labs exists so that it no longer has to. The same engineering, the same ratings, designed and built end to end under our own name — and built the way we always argued they should be: instrumented, digitally controlled, and observable from the moment they are energised.

Manufacturing capability
We design, manufacture, test and supply complete plug-n-play units. The electrical design, the enclosure design, transformers, PCBs, wiring and assemblies and testing and reporting, all done by us. The enclosures are manufactured and brought into the manufacturing plant.
Our team of engineers design and calculate the enclosure parameters to suit the site's requirements. The gauge and material of enclosure, the cooling method are all calculated against the site environment.
Any external components that are brought into the manufacturing plant go through a series of tests and inspections on arrival to verify that the components match the required parameters. Our manufacturing plant can produce any units within 1.2 MW rating.
Test capability
The instruments and loads on the test floor, the routine tests a unit passes before it leaves, and what a customer can witness at a factory acceptance test. State the DC load bank's rating as a rating, never as a figure anything was tested to, and give no other point on its envelope. Name the measurements, not the equipment brands. Describe what the regime catches, never how often it finds nothing.
Quality approach
How the design standards already published in the catalogue — ANSI, NEMA, UL, WAPDA P-133:95, BSS-171, IEC enclosure ratings — are applied in practice. Say plainly that these are standards designed and built to, not certifications held — no third party has certified them. Then the inspection stages in order: bought-in components against their parameters, magnetics and boards each tested before they go into a panel, a QC pass over the finished panel, and a factory acceptance test that happens whether or not the customer attends. Say that design review against specification is general practice, and name what ships with the unit: drawing, manual and test report, with a spares list on request. Describe where the stages catch problems, never how often they find none.

How does a new company have proven ratings at 3000A?
The engineering isn't new. Only the nameplate is.
The ratings we publish are ratings this team has designed, built and put into service. That work was done as an engineering consultancy, which means the units went out under our clients' names rather than ours. Diode Labs is that same engineering team operating under its own name and taking on the manufacturing directly. The design capability, the test capability and the people are continuous. The company is what's new.
Whose nameplate did they ship under?
Our consulting agreements don't allow us to name the parties. What we can do is take you through the design — the topology, the thermal work, the control architecture — and demonstrate a unit. That's a better test of whether we can build yours than a client list.
How long have you been in business?
Diode Labs is new as a company. The engineering behind it isn't — this team has been designing industrial power electronics and control systems for years, and that's the part that determines whether your unit works.
Can you show me reference installations?
Not by name. We can show you rated units, test data, and the design rationale, and we'll build you a prototype against your spec.
